Dr. Henry W. Lahmeyer is a clinical professor of psychiatry
at Finch University of Health Sciences in North Chicago . He
formerly was a tenured professor of psychiatry at the University
of Illinois and Northwestern University .
Dr. Lahmeyer is board
certified in psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and sleep disorders
medicine.
His research has spanned
30 years into sleep disorders, seasonal affective disorder,
anxiety disorder and depression.
He has been published
in over 70 prestigious medical journals and shared with colleagues
world-wide in lectures and papers at more than 100 universities
and conferences.
He completed his residency
in psychiatry at the University of Chicago .
He has appeared on the
Oprah Winfrey Show, National Public Radio, CNBC, the Discovery
Channel, and on newscasts of Chicago area radio and television
stations. His work has been widely featured in Chicago newspapers.
Dr. Lahmeyer has testified
as an expert in more than 200 criminal trials His forensic
experience also includes more than 800 civil depositions
and trials in 20 states.
